"Popped in on our way through for a cup of tea and were so impressed by this gorgeous, quaint tea rooms. Staff were lovely, setting was gorgeous and food and drink spot on. Definitely recommend their famous tea! A lovely tea rooms."

"Always great to pop in to Gillam's. The food and cakes are home made and delicious and the coffee is amazing. Dougie, the owner, is always so friendly and his staff are all brilliant. The cafe is a little treasure and does therefore get busy, so it's definitely worth booking if you're going in on the weekend or on market day. Also recommend the shop which is attached to the cafe and sells all kinds of artisan breads, organic veg and health foods as well as chocolate, tea and coffee. Parking on Union Street carpark which is just one minutes walk away Decent offering for children including kids afternoon tea."

"What a gem. I really didn't expect to find anywhere that did non dairy milk never mind delicious vegan breakfast foods! I had tofu BLT. It was fantastic, the marinated tofu was top notch. Lots of coffee options. The shop next door is stuffed to the gills with delightful products and beautiful fresh veg. I only wished we lived closer."

"I'm from Blackburn and visited Gillam's today. We went as a family of 9 and I honestly could not praise it enough. The food was absolutely delicious, so worth the hype. So so so good. The creamy mushroom toast, the soup, the scones, tiffin, jacket potato, the WHOLE LOT was delicious. Even better was the service, the manager was so welcoming, so so kind, his wife, all the waitresses were absolutely amazing. Kind human beings, beautiful souls. Next door is their shop selling all different kind of vegetarian and vegan items and also produce made in Nablus Everything on the menu is vegan or vegetarian."
